The Tail Hunter Sports Bar – Close to us at Posada Colibri, This is a palapa bar with a great ocean view. Its a good place to meet with friends and catch the sunset or to watch sports on the tube with the rest of the fans while having a cold beer or two. There is a complete menu, great service and occasionally, live music. Get there early, before sunset because the place fills up.
Tres Virgenes Very nice garden ambience, outdoor brick oven, Steaks, Lamb, Seafood, nice appetizers and salads. Consistently exceptional good food. Guests say good things about this one. Sometimes clientel is mostly gringo, but it has to do with the hours people choose to dine, I think. Appetizers $80-90 Entrée’s $130 and up. Easy 8 minutes walk from Posada Colibri’. Located on Francisco I Madero between Consitucion and Hidalgo
Dinner Tony’s Really good thin crust Pizza, Salads, Lasagna, Wine, Fabulous Tiramisu Located in the Callejon or Alleyway, beside the Hotel Perla off the Malecon. Good Service, Fair prices.
Los Laureles - Mexican Seafood. - Excellent seafood cocktails, fish fillets, etc. On the Malecon, corner at Salvatierra.
Buffalo Grill - Dinner - Steaks and Seafood.Appetizers $80- $90, Entrée’s $130 and up. Small, cozy, nice ambiance in the garden. Guests comments were very positive. They would happily go back again. Easy 10 minutes walking distance from Posada Colibri. Located on Francisco I Madero between 5 de Mayo and Constitucion.
Mar y Peña Good Mexican Seafood, Popular with Locals, A 12 minute drive or taxi rde from Posada Colibri. Lunch and Dinner. Entrees from about $120 pesos. Located on 16 de Septiembre just above Isabel La Catholica.
La Costa - Mexican Seafood outdoor dining, feet in the sand, local favorite of Mexicans and Gringos. Lunch and Dinner. 25 minutes walk from Posada Colibri’ Rangel y Navarro Near Marina de La Paz
La Panga - Boater’s Favorite, Located right at the north end of Marina Palmira. One hour free parking, Breakfast, lunch and dinner, great view of boats in the marina, Fish, seafood, chicken, steak.
La Tasca Good Variety, Ambience, Francisco I Madero between Hidalgo y Constitucion
Dinner Las Brisas - Steaks Seafood Lunch and Dinner Entrée’s $150 On the north end of the Malecon near the Old Seguro Viejo building at Calle Colegio Militar.
Club el Moro Deli - Classic Deli Fare, Breakfast and Lunch and Dinner. On the road out of town just to the north on the Malecon at Hotel Club El Morro.
El Dorado Seafood on the Malecon between Torre Iglesias and Republica. Good reviews from our guests. Great service, great food and great view, they say.

La Fonda - Mexican restaurant, popular with tourists. Twenty minute walk from Posada Colibri.
Azul Marino Lunch, Dinner, Nice ambiance, view of Marina Costa Baja, Creative and Excellent. Costa Baja (go in main entrance, first building complex after you go down the hill with large palm trees around fountain) 10 minutes drive from Posada Colibri toward Pichilingue.
Caprichos Restored Ornate historic house. French Bistro, very nice, Madero 312 between 5 de Mayo and Constitucion Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Il Rustico – Restored house and garden, very nice rustic ambience, brick oven. Italian food, oven pizza, very nice for lunch and dinner. Located on Revolucion just down the hill from Bravo.
Grill Campestre – Located on the highway, just before Walmart - They serve consistently good food here in a pleasant dining room. Steaks, Ribs, Cobb Salads, hamburgers. Good service. Fair prices.
La Fonda – I’ve heard visitors say that this was their favorite place for Mexican food. Try it and let us know what you think.

La Camorra - At Abasolo and Jalisco in the strip mall.
Bismark Restaurant seafood corner of Altamirando and Degollado. One of the original local seafood restaurant here in La Paz. It used to be very popular but now people seem to prefer the Malecon location, Bismarkcito.
Bismarkcito - seafood Malecon between Morelos and Hidalgo Good seafood tacos. Fish, oysters, shrimp, ceviche, etc.
El Sinaloense - Local favorite for Mexican food. Posole, menudo, tostadas, etc. Located on Felix Ortega between Independencia and 5 de Mayo. Open late afternoon and late into the night.
El Zarape - Traditional sitdown Mexican food, Mainland Oaxaca Style. Considered very good by locals. Chicken en mole sauce, Posole, Located on between .
