Just a short walk from the waterfront, shopping and nightlife, Posada Colibri Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in a charming house in a quiet historic neighborhood . Your hosts Darrell and his wife Diane from Calgary Canada, welcome you to their three-story home in which they offer 5 unique and wonderful guest suites. They can help make your visit to La Paz unforgettable with tips on where to go and what to do.
All of the suites at Posada Colibri have private baths and are comfortably furnished with queen-sized or king-sized beds. Several suites have ocean views, terraces and complete kitchens. There is WiFi throughout the house and garden. Its unlimited use is included in the price of the room. Enclosed secure parking is now available to guests so they can explore La Paz on foot, boat or bicycle without worrying about the security of their vehicle. A heated pool is also available for our guests next door at Las Gaviotas Resort.
The garden has a swimming pool and a gas BBQ for guest use from 8AM to 10PM.
Two of the guest rooms have TV’s with Sky Satellite with many channels from which to view that sporting or news event which might be important to you. A VCR or disk player is available on request. A TV is located for our guests in the main living room area.

Note: Quiet time normally starts at 10PM. We ask our guests to tip-toe and whisper after that hour out of respect for those of us who go to sleep with the chickens. An exception can be made if your party has rented the whole house.

“We never cease to be amazed at how fast our guests seem to slip into that relaxed state of mind which we refer to as La Paz Mode. Even those coming from a fast-paced go-gettum, organize-everything lifestyle usually don’t hold out longer than it takes to finish their first breakfast in the garden.” Gail Theurel (Owner)
