Just a short walk from the waterfront, shopping and nightlife,
Posada Colibri Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in charming house
in a quiet historic neighborhood Hosts, native born, Gonzalo “Chalo”
Theurel and his wife, 30 yr. resident, Linda Gail, welcome you to their newly
renovated three-story home in which they offer 5 unique and wonderful guest suites.
They can help make your visit to La Paz unforgettable with tips on where to go and what to do.
Families are welcome and good times are guaranteed!
All of the suites have private baths and are comfortably furnished with queen-sized or king-sized beds. Several suites have ocean views, terraces and complete kitchens. There is WiFi throughout the house and garden. It’s unlimited use is included in the price of the room. |
The garden has a swimming pool, a hot tub (Bathing suits required.) and a gas BBQ for guest use from 7AM to 10PM.
The living room has a 42” flat screen TV for guest use and three of the guest rooms also have TV’s with Sky and many channels (including hockey) from which to view that sporting or news event which might be important to you. A VCR or disk player is available on request.
Every evening at 5PM guests are welcome to join their hosts, Chalo and Gail, on the ground floor of the house to enjoy a light snack and a beverage while watching an interesting film about Baja’s desert, The Sea of Cortez or the people who make the peninsula special.
Note: Quiet time starts at 10PM.

Served from 7AM to 10AM, breakfast will start out with fresh brewed coffee or tea,
fresh juice and fruit, homemade breads, eggs and bacon or ham cooked to order.
In addition, Gail might surprise you with pancakes, waffles, quiche or enchiladas
on any given morning just to keep things interesting. |

| Special Needs |
|
Although breakfast usually includes bacon, ham or
sausage, there are plenty of delicious things to eat for vegetarians
or vegans. Let us know ahead of time
about any special needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

| Phones |
|
We use a wonderful and economical online phone system called Skype for phone calls outside of Mexico.
For a very reasonable cost you can be in touch with friends or family on our
downstairs computer while here at Posada Colibri.

| Prices |
|
The cost of a nights stay ranges from $65.00 US to $115 US for one or two adults, depending on the size of the room and its amenities. See room descriptions for full details. The price given for each room includes the unlimited WiFi, 13% tax (10% federal and 3% state) and a full breakfast, freshly prepared and served to guests from 7 to 10 AM.
For an additional adult, there is a charge of $20US. The charge for an extra child 6-12 yrs. of age is $15US. Little ones under 6 stay free

| Credit Cards and Currency |
|
Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Reservations require a 50% payment of the entire cost of the stay to confirm. This can be done with Paypal online or on the telephone with your credit card or with a deposit wired into our bank account. Balance is due at check-in. Prices are in U.S. dollars. The current rate of exchange will be consulted online if payment is to be made in Mexican Pesos.
 
Prices given on this page will be valid for the season from October 25, 2009 to June 25, 2010.

| Cancellation Policy |
|
Please give us a two week notice or more for a cancellation and we will be happy to cancel all charges. If you let us know of your change of plans with less than a 14 day notice I must keep the deposit because I will have difficulty in renting the room on such short notice. If you don’t show on your first night I still have to charge you, sorry. I will try my best to work with you and move the date of your stay if there are rooms available.
